10 Welterweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2023

Islam Dulatov

24 | 6’6″ | Düsseldorf, Germany | 7-1 | 100% Finish Rate | 4 KO/TKOs, 3 Submission | Combined Opponents’ Record: 23-16 | Best Win – Kleverson Sampaio (13-7)

Since losing his first fight, Dulatov hasn’t lost again winning his next seven bouts. He’s finished all of his opponents and five of those he finished in under a minute. His last two fights were canceled so he could be at a better spot than he is now. Dulatov is probably the best fighter out of Germany. I feel with one or two more wins he will be in the UFC.

Dulatov is huge at 6’6″ and uses his length to his advantage. He’s a really rangy guy with a good jab and straight punches. He makes opponents pay coming in with step-in knees and is just difficult to close the distance on. There haven’t been hardly any concerns with him yet but that might be because he’s finishing fights so quickly. You may see Dulatov on this coming season of the Contender Series.
