Ethical Journalism:

Cageside Press takes part in “boots on ground” journalism, with our staff credentialed by multiple professional sports organizations. Our journalists are expected to act ethically and with integrity at all times.

  • We do not, under any circumstances, pay for news “tips,” interviews, or access to events that we cover.
  • We do not accept sponsorships or reimbursement from any subject of our news coverage, interviews, editorials, etc.
  • We work to ensure we remain free of any outside influence.
  • Any inaccuracies/factual corrections will be noted when they are identified.

Cageside Press is wholly independent and is not paid, directly or indirectly, by any third party in exchange for coverage of favorable treatment. Our revenue is entirely advertising-driven.

  • We have a zero-tolerance policy in regards to plagiarism.
  • Our journalists are expected to avoid conflicts of interest and potential bias whenever possible.

Paid Posts / Guest Contributions:

Cageside Press does not allow “sponsored” or similar paid / non-paid contributions under any circumstances. No paid endorsements, implied or otherwise, are made herein.

Occasionally, outside journalists with relevant experience may contribute without being full-time members of our staff. These instances will be clearly identified when they occur, and any guest author will be required to adhere to our editorial policy.

Cageside Press strives to credit, where ever and whenever possible, the original source of any significant news event, interview, quote, etc.

We work to ensure we corroborate any information we report through independent sources.
