10 Welterweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2023

Kaik Brito

25 | 5’11″ | Goiania, Goias, Brazil | 16-4 | 100% finish rate | 13 KO/TKOs, 3 Submission | Combined Opponents’ Record: 120-48-3 | Best Win – David Kozma (30-11)

Brito is a highly underrated talent who is still young with good experience. He’s 4-3 in his last seven. He’s always been talented but his problem has been keeping the momentum. Brito seems to finally get over the hump beating a tough guy in David Kozma for the Oktagon title. All his losses are to good fighters but he has beat good fighters as well. He’s won his last two fights and is prime for a UFC call-up this year.

Brito is primarily a striker bringing a strong toolbox. Brito has excellent Muay Thai and covers distance well. From the range, he uses good leg kicks, and a jab, and is a dangerous counter striker. Brito has a lot of upside at just the age of 25.
