10 Heavyweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2022

Jesus “El Tanque” Navarrete

24 | 6’2″ | Maneadero, Baja California, Mexico, | 7-0 | 100% finish rate | 6 KO/TKOs, 1 Submission (Rear-naked choke) | Combined Opponents’ Record: 18-8 | Best Win – Eliezer Ortega (5-0)

Navarrete is an underrated heavyweight prospect. Only being in the sport for not even five years, he’s already the reigning defending UWC heavyweight champion. He’s only 24 as well. The UFC needs more Mexican fighters and it’s been a while since they had a Mexican heavyweight.

Navarrete is a chubbier heavyweight but is talented enough to watch out for. The big man is a technical striker with a good jab and a lot of output. Navarrete will march forward throwing his hands and kicks. He’s got that Mexican toughness marching forward taking shots to give some. Not someone that’s going to knock the doors down right away, but he will put on some entertaining fights.
