Rose Namajunas quickly climbed her way up the ladder in the strawweight division while Joanna Jedrzejczyk was putting together a 14-0 record, looking nearly unstoppable. In addition to Joanna Champion never losing a fight, Namajunas had never knocked out a fighter before.
With a lot of heat and bad blood going into UFC 217, Namajunas kept her cool and dominated Jedrzejczyk in the first round, knocking her down once and then knocking her out again in one of the most unexpected defeats in MMA history.
