10 Light Heavyweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2021

Marthin Hamlet Nielsen

28 | 6’1″ | Åsgårdstrand, Norway | 6-1 | 4 Finishes | 2 KO/TKOs, 2 Submissions (Arm-Triangle) | Combined Opponents’ Record: 37-25-1 | Best Win – Łukasz Parobiec (13-8-1)

Nielsen was a hot prospect in 2018-2019 until he ran into Modestas Bukauskas. Although Nielsen did lose it was his first time seeing the fourth round and he was winning that fight prior to the finish. Since then, he did get back to his winning ways with a dominant win in December of 2019.

Hamlet has a background as a Greco-Roman wrestler who has wrestled since a young age and won a few championships along the way with an Olympic scholarship. He’s an aggressive powerhouse wrestler with a stellar ground game. His striking is wild but he uses it to come forward to slam his foes down. Hamlet is someone that I’m betting will be in the UFC in 2021.
