Light heavyweight is looking awfully thin in the UFC these days.

Jon Jones appears ready to finally move to heavyweight, and vacated the title in 2020. Daniel Cormier has retired. Corey Anderson and the returning Anthony “Rumble” Johnson have jumped to Bellator. Yoel Romero is finally moving to light heavyweight — but also for Bellator.

So what’s the UFC to do? Bring in some fresh faces. We’ve got 10 fighters who we think fit the bill.

Here’s a look at last year’s list, featuring current UFC roster members Jiri Prochazka, Modestas Bukauskas, and Tafon Nchukwi who all signed with the UFC in 2020. Alex Polizzi meanwhile signed with Bellator, and Timo Feucht was briefly signed by the UFC, only to be released before setting foot in the octagon due to reports of his involvement with a Neo-Nazi group.
