Just Plain Fun to Watch

There are a few prospects that are just a ton of fun to watch. Even though they aren’t talked about as top-tier prospects, they bring a lot to the table. These guys are pure entertainment and still have that high ceiling. Bokang Masunyane (8-0), Paris Moran (5-1), Roybert Echeverria (6-0), Gerardo Fanny (11-2), Bekhzod Usmonov (9-3) all fit the bill.

Bokang Masunyane is pretty familiar to the more hardcore fans. A former Commonwealth Games wrestler, the “The Little Giant” Bokang Masunyane is a ball of energy standing at only 5’1″. He’s an explosive athlete on the feet and a strong wrestler rag-dolling guys around. Masunyane is signed with ONE Championship and is 2-0 for them.

Paris Moran is an exciting prospect. He’s a seven-time sanda national champion. Moran recently beat Contender Series veteran Nate Smith. Before that, he had a highlight-reel knee knockout.

Venezuelan-born Roybert Echeverria is a scary fighter at 125. He trains out of the Goat Shed in Miami, Florida with tons of other talented fighters. Although his competition has been lackluster he’s dishing out huge finishes every time.

Gerardo Fanny of the Netherlands is a stud. Since moving down to flyweight Fanny has looked better and you can tell it’s where he should’ve been fighting for a long time. Beating guys like Connor Hignett and Liam Gittins is no joke. Fanny is the type of guy you tune in to watch every time.

Bekhzod Usmonov has a sambo and muay thai background. He’s a three-time muay thai champion and has a 37-5-1 record. Usmonov is a submission threat, a good striker, a knockout threat, and can go the distance.
