The vacant Oktagon MMA welterweight title will be on the line this October.

Announced by promotion officials on Thursday, Amiran Gogoladze (18-3) will face Felix Klinkhammer (11-0) at Oktagon 96 on October 31, 2026 with 170lb gold on the line.

The event takes place at the SAP Garden in Munich, Germany.

Oktagon’s welterweight title was left vacant when champ Kaik Brito left the promotion last month. Brito currently has a date scheduled on Dana White’s Contender Series.

Georgia’s Gogoladze, who himself appeared on the Contender Series in 2022, has won his last four fights, all under the Oktagon MMA banner. Most recently, he knocked out former champ Ion Surdu, getting the job done inside of a round at Oktagon 86 back in April.

The undefeated Felix Klinkhammer, meanwhile, will be fighting at home in Germany on Halloween. Klinkhammer is a former ARES FC welterweight champion who went 4-0 in that promotion. He’s also 2-0 under inside the Oktagon MMA cage, though those fights came years apart.

The lone knock on Klinkhammer, if there is any, is his lack of activity. The British-born German has fought just once per year since 2022. Last November, he submitted Máté Kertész via kneebar in his lone fight in 2025.

Klinkhammer fights out of London, and trains with London Shootfighters alongside the likes of Michael “Venom” Page and Alfie Davis.
