Preston Parsons
Welterweight | 25 | Jacksonville Beach, Florida, US | 8-2 | Win streak: 3 | 8 Submissions
Parsons is an underrated fighter but in my opinion, he’s very legit. He’s battle-tested fighting good fighters for the majority of his career. He’s not someone that’s padded their record as he’s always been looking for the most challenging fights. Getting thrown into the top competition and still having an overall record of 8-2 is splendid. Parsons may not be the top-notch striker Dana White looks for, but he’s a dominant wrestler with a formidable grappling base. He has a 100% finish rate which is something the UFC brass can’t not be impressed with.
Olivier Murad
Featherweight | 27 | Miami, Florida, US | 5-0 | Win streak: 12 | 2 KO/TKOs, 2 Submissions
Through the majority of his pro career and his entire career Murad has flown quietly under the radar. It wasn’t until last February when he got his name out there, debuting for Titan FC and winning their featherweight title. The opponet he beat for the title was Contender Series veteran Muhammadjon Naimov, who was in one of the best fights of the Contender Series last season. This fight between Murad and Naimov was another great one and Murad proved he belongs on the show by winning a unanimous decision.
