LFA 208 goes down in Santa Cruz, CA on Friday May 9 featuring a pair of featherweights hoping to impress enough to get the call to the UFC.
In the main event featherweights Chris Mecate and Javier Reyes look to continue their win streaks in hopes of joining the elite 145-pound division in the UFC.
Mecate (10-2) rides a 5-fight win streak into Santa Cruz with coming off an impressive TKO victory at LFA 198. Mecate overcame adversity early on against Shaheen Santana and finished him off with punches in the second round. The Bloodline Combat Sports product looks to follow in head coach Cub Swanson‘s footsteps on Friday night.
Reyes (20-4) took a couple fights outside of the LFA following his title loss at LFA 190 against current 145-pound champ Lerryan Douglas. He went off to Fusion Fighting Championship and took their 145-pound title against Alvaro Vacacela in Colombia.
In the co-main event Jacob Rosales welcomes Georgii Evans to the LFA, and in a featured heavyweight bout Contender Series bound Josh Hokit takes on Eric Lunsford.
