Conor McGregor continues to create problems for himself.
The former UFC featherweight and lightweight champ, once the promotion’s biggest star, hasn’t fought since 2021, but has made headlines month in and month out for deplorable behaviour. From sexual assault complaints, to racist tirades, McGregor seems to check every box in the “how not to behave as a public figure” checklist – and it appears he’s done it again.
Recently surfaced video shot near the Caffe Al Teatro at the Wynn Las Vegas luxury hotel shows McGregor approached by several fans. No date or timestamp is apparent in the video, but it shows one fan call for an autograph, while another calls out “let’s go Khabib.”
That doesn’t sit well with McGregor, who was submitted by Khabib Nurmagomedov following their one and only fight in 2018. He turns around and spits in the man’s face, then verbally admits to doing just that. “I spit in your face. What did you do? Nothing,” taunts McGregor as he walks away, surrounded by his entourage.

In Nevada, as of 2011, spitting on someone is considered battery, a misdemeanor charge. There’s no word as to whether Las Vegas police are investigating the incident. Cageside Press has reached out to both representatives for Conor McGregor, and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, for comment.
Update, 7:20PM ET: LVMPD state that they were unable to locate any incident under investigation based on the encounter at this time.
