It wasn’t a good night for Conor McGregor, whose long-anticipated comeback fell flat, but UFC 329 hit some impressive viewership figures.

On Thursday, Paramount released numbers for this past Saturday’s card, which took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and streamed exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Latin America.

In those territories, the broadcast reached 15.9 million viewers total, with 14.3 million in the U.S. and the remainder in Latin America.

Peak concurrent streams came to 8.3 million, which is actually more than the peak concurrent streams for UFC Freedom 250 at the White House last month. That event peaked at 7.9 million concurrent streams.

Streaming numbers were based on Nielsen Live Streaming Custom Analysis.

The main event of UFC 329 saw Conor McGregor return to action for the first time since 2021, when he broke his leg in the trilogy fight of his series with Dustin Poirier. After breaking his toe ahead of UFC 303, where he was slotted in against Michael Chandler, McGregor instead made the walk opposite Max Holloway at UFC 329, then immediately fell to an apparent leg injury, possibly an ACL tear.

McGregor went down off an airborne kick, his first attack of the fight, though he appeared to stumble while taking his shoes off prior to entering the octagon.

The Irish star, MMA’s biggest, has vowed to return.

The night’s co-main event saw Paddy Pimblett quickly submit Benoit Saint-Denis of France, leaving him arguably the biggest winner on the card.
