10 Welterweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2023

Raheam Forest

25 | 5’11″ | Memphis, Tennessee | 6-0 | 4 Finishes | 3 KO/TKOs, 1 Submission | Combined Opponents’ Record: 20-8 | Best Win – Collin Lubberts (6-1)

Forest went just 5-6 as an amateur so the resurgence he’s had in his career has been amazing. To top it off, he closed out 2022 winning the CFFC welterweight title. He has key wins over Collin Lubberts and Contender Series alum Donovan Beard.

When talking about the guys with massive power in their hands that’s Forest. Not just his hands as he kicks like a mule and is very explosive. He brings that with constant forward pressure and a good gas tank. Forest is a good wrestler as well being capable of taking the fight anywhere. He has a heavy top position and nasty ground and pound. Everything he does is with 100% commitment and power. There isn’t much not to like about this guy. I think he’s a stud and has a high ceiling.

“It was a dream just like a lot of other people that wanted to be in the UFC. I know what I bring and I know the work that I put in. Blood sweat and tears, countless hours in the gym,” Forest told Cageside Press. “I’ve been homeless doing this and quitting wasn’t nowhere in my head. I’m GODS WARCHILD, I’M HIS VESSEL. Every time I step in the cage just know I’m bringing the fight and it will be the fight of the night or runner-up. Dana give me a shot and I will show you.”
