10 Middleweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2023

Torrez “The Punisher” Finney

24 | 5’7″ | Chattanooga, Tennessee, US | 4-0 |100% Finish Rate | 4 KO/TKOs | Combined Opponents’ Record: 8-18 | Best Win – Ivan Batinich (5-1)

Finney has been in sports his whole life. He started in football and led the state in Georgia with sacks totaling 24. He led the state with tackles by a defensive lineman at 131. As a result, Finney was awarded the best defensive lineman in the state, went first-team All-region, and first-team All-state. He was a successful wrestler as well. Finney went on to win back-to-back state championships. He placed ninth in nationals, won all-middle Georgia wrestler of the year, and went 40-0 his senior year.

You can see Finney’s passion in wrestling as he elevates guys and slams them to the mat. Finney looks terrifying being jacked from head to toe. He’s a unit despite being short for the division. His striking is limited but he has knockout power and throws well to close the distance. He isn’t someone you want getting a hold of you as he will lift you high and put you down hard. Finney is freakishly strong but does have solid wrestling even being able to chain wrestle when needed.
