10 Middleweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2023

Eli “The Israeli Tank” Aronov

29 | 5’10″ | Arad, Israel | 6-0 | 4 Finishes | 2 KO/TKOs, 2 Submissions | Combined Opponents’ Record: 16-3 | Best Win – Mariusz Ksiazkiewicz (10-1)

Aronov wrestled from the young age of twelve and later in life came to MMA. He’s arguably the best hope of representing his country Israel in the UFC. In late 2019, Bellator went to Israel for an event. Aronov fought on that card and came out as the winner. Although that was a big deal, it was his most recent fight that was the biggest win of his career. He traveled to Canada and finished Contender Series alum Mariusz Ksiazkiewicz who was on the verge of a UFC call-up.

On the feet, Aronov isn’t the cleanest and does seem to get tired as the fight goes on. His wrestling has really bailed him out. Even though he’s small for the division he’s able to ragdoll guys around. On the mat is where he wants to be and where he does his best work. Aronov has strong top position and is a threat at submissions and fight-ending ground and pound.

“This year i am going to get into the UFC middleweight division so they all better be ready, the “ISRAELI TANK” is on the way,” he told Cageside Press. “And for Dana White, see you soon boss.”
