10 Lightweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2022

William “Soldier of Christ” Starks

 28 | 5’10″ | Columbia, Missouri, US | 7-2 | 4 Finishes | 1 TKO/KO, 3 Submissions’ (RNC) | Combined Opponents’ Record: 46-44 | Best Win – Viacheslav Borshchev (2-0)

Starks has had a really underrated career thus far. As a pro, he’s been able to keep very active fighting seven times in the last two years. Starks has a win over Slava Borshchev who is now a UFC fighter everyone is excited about. He had a lot of amateur fights as well going 15-1. Starks was very successful in his amateur career being the IMMAF 2015 and 2016 world champion.

Starks is a very strong athletic fighter and has very good wrestling showing nice timing and athleticism. On top, Starks is solid; he has won by TKO and submission but is more of a grinder. On the feet, it’s still a work in progress but he’s explosive and has pretty good kicks.
