10 Lightweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2022

Manoel “Manumito” Sousa

 24 | 5’9″ | Sao Bernardo do Campo, Sao Paulo, Brazil | 7-0 | 100% finish rate | 5 TKO/KOs, 2 Submission’s (RNC) | Combined Opponents’ Record: 39-8| Best Win – Brendo Bispo (17-4)

Sousa has only seven pro fights but a few of those wins really stand out. He handed prospect Mauricio Ruffy his first loss who I was really high on at a time. Last year he fought Brendo Bispo in a high-profile fight out of Brazil. Sousa stopped Bispo inside one round which was really impressive. That was for the SFT championship too.

Sousa is a heavy-handed fighter who slings powerful right and left hooks. He does a good job going to the body and throwing kicks behind his strikes. He has good head movement and good footwork as well. The very athletic Sousa also has a strong wrestling attack and is a submission threat that he can use all fight.
