Prediction

Weems is a short notice replacement and a good one at that. Both these guys are similar to each other which should make for an entertaining fight. Both have fought the same level of competition so it’s as even as a fight can be.

I’m slightly leaning towards Weems. On the feet, there is a chance Garcia overwhelms Weems with his power. Weems still throws more and Garcia has had issues not moving his head. Garcia does have a physical advantage and could be the one getting takedowns. I still haven’t seen him neutralize opponents on the mat nor keeping it there. Weems has superior jiu-jitsu. Even off his back I’d favor Weems. I’m confident with Weems in the grappling just not on the feet as much. In the end, I’m taking Weems.
