Jasmine Jasudavicius
Flyweight | 32 | St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada | 5-1 | Win streak: 1 | 2 KO/TKOs, 1 Submission
Jasudavicius is only coming off a single win but in her defense, her loss nearly a year ago was a top prospect in Elise Reed. That fight went to the scorecards and it was a razor-close split-decision. If she would’ve won that we most likely would be watching Jasudavicius in the UFC today. Everything happens for a reason and more experience for the Canadian is valuable. Jasudavicius did get back on the board recently and at age 32 it’s time for the push now.
Timing is everything — Jasudavicius has already been locked up for the show this year, with the news breaking just prior to this article being published.
Elise Reed
Strawweight | 28 | Princeton, New Jersey, US | 3-0 | Win streak: 8 | 1 KO/TKO
Speaking of Elise Reed, if Jasmine Jasudavicius gets on the Contender Series, the woman to give her that sole loss no doubt deserves it as well. After an impressive 7-1 amateur career her pro career has been even better. She made her pro debut inside the Bellator cage and got the win. She beat Jasudavicius for the CFFC strawweight title. Reed then went on four months later to defend the title against a tough Jillian DeCoursey. No doubt Reed should be on the Contender Series this Summer.
