Scouting Prospects for the Contender Series Season 5: Part 3

Patrik White

Lightweight | 27 |Anchorage, Alaska, US | 9-1 | Win streak: 3 | 9 KO/TKOs

Last season we saw a breakout star from Alaska in Uros Medic. If there was another looking to break out from Alaska it is Patrik White. Like Medic, White it a veteran of Alaska FC and as a pro, he has a 100% finish rate. It’s hard to gauge how good White is especially fighting in Alaska so a fight on the Contender Series will answer a lot of questions. I will say prior to Medic signing with the UFC, White has beaten the better competition.

Lucas Clay

Lightweight | 25 | St. Charles, Missouri, US | 7-1 | Win streak: 3 | 2 Submissions

Clay has quietly flown under the radar as a top lightweight prospect. He’s more known for the rare buggy choke he finished with back in the day but some of the guys he’s beaten should be credited as well. Clay has beat good prospects in Brant Moore and contender series veterans Mike Breeden and JJ Okanovich. There is still room for improvement but expect to see him this Summer.
