Muhammad Mokaev
Bantamweight | 20 | Manchester, England but born in Russia | 5-0 | Win streak: 28 | 2 KO/TKOs, 1 Submission
Worldwide, Mokaev is one of the prospects with the most hype. Mokaev has an outstanding amateur career going 23-0 and was a four-time IMMAF gold medalist. The young 20-year-old has looked stellar and frankly dominant. Mokaev is destined for the UFC one way or another. With that said, if they were to get him on the Contender Series a lot more eyes would be glued to the screen on Tuesday night.
Tabatha Ricci
Strawweight | 26 | Van Nuys, California, US but born in Brazil | 4-0 | Win streak: 4 | 2 Submissions
Ricci is a judo black belt and a training partner of the UFC’s Mackenzie Dern. She’s only 4-0 but one of the best women’s prospects there is. She’s from Brazil but has been fighting in the US training out of Paragon BJJ and Knuckleheadz. Ricci made her MMA debut in 2013 and by 2014 she was 2-0. She took a break from MMA and returned late last year and by this past January had improved to 4-0. Since returning, she’s fought for LFA. Although she badly needs a step up in competition she could get that on the Contender Series.
