15 Female Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2021

Erin Blanchfield (Flyweight)

21 | 5’4” | Elmwood Park, New Jersey, US | 6-1 | 3 Finishes | 2 KO/TKOs, 1 Submission (Americana) | Combined Opponents’ Record: 17-3 | Best win – Kay Hansen (3-1)

Blanchfield is very well-known in the jiu-jitsu world where she won the EBI 12 flyweight championship. Her sole MMA loss is to UFC fighter Tracy Cortez; many thought Blanchfield won that fight. She really impressed when she knocked out Victoria Leonardo, who is now a UFC fighter. Since her loss to Cortez she’s on a 3-fight win streak. Blanchfield’s next fight should be for the Invicta FC flyweight title.

Blanchfield is obviously solid on the mat but lately she has been showing improvement on the feet. Over time, the young Blanchfield has been putting it all together. She’s not the cleanest striker but throws a lot of volume while pushing the pace. Erin is only 21-years-old and has developed her game against high-level competition.
