15 Female Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2021

Jamey-Lyn Horth Wessels (Flyweight)

30 | 5’7” | Squamish, British Columbia | 4-0 | 100% Finish Rate | 3 KO/TKOs, 1 Submission (RNC) | Combined Opponents’ Record: 8-3 | Best win – Jade Masson-Wong (3-1)

Among all the many top Canadian prospects, Wessels name is brought up a lot. In her last fight she beat a talented Jade Masson-Wong for the BFL title. That win and the performance puts her as the best female Canadian prospect at the moment. Wessels was supposed to fight this past Summer on the Contender Series but VISA issues held that back. She is at least on the radar with the UFC so this year could be her year.

There isn’t really a lot of footage on Wessels, but those who have seen her compete live, word is she’s top notch. Basically pressure, wrestling, and a solid work rate is what she brings to the cage.
