10 Middleweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2021

Rinat “Gladiator” Fakhretdinov

29 | 6’0″ | Moscow, Russia | 19-2 | 15 Finishes | 10 KO/TKOs, 5 Submissions’ (4 Guillotines’, RNC) | Combined Opponents’ Record: 41-27-1 | Best Win – Alberto Uda (14-2)

Fakhretdinov has many titles in Pankration and combat sambo both on the national and international level. That goes well with an impressive 19-2 MMA record and on a current 13-fight win streak. He is the current GFC Middleweight champion a promotion under UFC lightweight champ and legend Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Fakhretdinov isn’t the best looking striker with his wide stance and looping strikes. He does make up for his awkward style with pressure and output. He doesn’t look to strike long as he is set to shoot at anytime. Fakhretdinov is a good wrestler and his ground game is solid. It’s more of his cardio and work rate never stopping that breaks opponents. At 29-years-old he’s in his prime and ready for the UFC.
