Baeza earned his UFC contract after his performance against then 10-3 Victor Reyna on DWCS in 2008. The fight ended in a unanimous decision but it was just the second time that Baeza has ever needed the scorecards in his professional career. Miguel has five first-round finishes. Baeza is a very complete looking MMA fighter, for so few pro fights. Miguel has a powerful striking, great defense to go along with it and everything that he throws seems to his hard. Baeza has a leg kick finish in his UFC debut.
Both of Miguel Baeza’s TKO wins in the UFC have come in the second round, including his most recent one, a finish over veteran, Matt Brown, that earned him a performance of the night bonus too.
