Ray “The Tazmexican Devil” Borg (13-5 MMA, 7-5 UFC)

Flyweight (125lbs): 6-3 (UFC), UFC Flyweight Title Challenger, Missed weight three times

Bantamweight (135lbs): 1-2 (UFC), Missed weight one time

Ray Borg has had an incredible career with the UFC in terms of accomplishments inside of the cage, but sadly almost everything that could go wrong outside of the cage has. Over the course of Ray Borg’s 12 UFC fight career, he has had 13 flight cancellations. And though Borg wasn’t the reason that all of these fights were canceled, it is evident that he has some pretty horrible luck.

In terms of weight issues though, Borg has missed weight a total of 4 times while in the UFC. The last time he missed weight was in his second to last fight against Rogerio Bontorin at flyweight in March of this year.

Despite all the times’ Borg has missed weight and all the canceled fights, he is still an incredibly good fighter that is only 26 years old and already challenged for the UFC flyweight title. Borg will be fighting at bantamweight for his bout at UFC Vegas 5.
