Gerald “GM3” Meerschaert (31-13 MMA, 6-5 UFC)

Middleweight (185lbs): 6-5 (UFC)

Light Heavyweight (205lbs): 0-0 (UFC), Making UFC debut on August 1st

Gerald Meerschaert has not missed weight in his 11 fight UFC career at middleweight.

Meerschaert has had a pro fight at 205lbs, but he has also had multiple pro fights at catchweight of 180lbs or lighter, and he has even had few bouts at welterweight. Gerald is now 32 years old,  stands at 6’1″ and posses a 77.5″ reach. Much of Meerschaert’s game revolves around grappling and submissions and he has finished every opponent that he has defeated in the UFC.

Meerschaert has faced much of the best competition that the UFC’s middleweight division has to offer and has been somewhat successful with a great finish rate and ok record. ‘GM3’ is opting to do what former middleweight fighters like Thiago Santos and Anthony Smith have done and seen immediate success in the form of light heavyweight title shots.
