15 Female Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2020

Cheyanne “The Warrior Princess” Buys (Strawweight)

24 | 5’4” | Dallas, Texas | 4-1 | 1 Finish | 1 KO/TKO | Combined Opponents’ Record: 9-6 | Best win – Karolina Wójcik (3-0)

Cheyanne Buys has fought in the U.S., Canada, and South Africa in her last five fights. Putting the miles in, in other words. Out of Canada, she is the current BTC strawweight champion. Buys has fought for EFC, Invicta, and most recently LFA. If she continues fighting for both LFA and Invicta her path to the UFC will most definitely come this year sometime.

“The Warrior Princess” is a well-rounded fighter out of the red-hot Fortis MMA. Buys is a good wrestler with heavy top position. She isn’t exactly a finisher on the mat but can easily grind out three rounds. On the feet, she has solid footwork/movement switching stances frequently. She has a good flow of punches and kicks putting it together well, overall showing solid output.
