The Professional Fighters League was in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Thursday night for PFL 4 of the league’s 2019 season. Featuring welterweights and women’s lightweights, the show had Kayla Harrison in the co-main event, taking on Morgan Frier — a fight that would be the final women’s bout of the regular season. In the PFL 4 2019 main event, meanwhile, 170lb champ Magomed Magomedkerimov took on Chris Curtis.
While Harrison made short work of her opponent, Magomedkerimov wound up in a spirited, and at some points heated battle with Curtis. The champ would pick up the win, but took his share of damage — being transported to hospital following the bout.
