Angela Lee’s strawweight struggles continued at ONE Championship: Masters of Destiny, while Giorgio Petrosyan earned a win in his rematch with Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy.
ONE Championship was back in Malaysia on Friday, with a couple of fighters looking for a do-over. The main event, a ONE Super Series Kickboxing Featherweight Grand Prix Quater-Final, had Giorgio Petrosyan and Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy running it back. That’s after their original meeting was overturned to a no contest due to reffing errors.
This time out, Giorgio Petrosyan got his revenge, winning the main event by unanimous decision.
In the co-main event, meanwhile, atomweight champ Angela Lee continued to struggle at strawweight. Losing to Michelle Nicolini, Lee has now dropped two straight in the weight class.
