Two middleweights looking for a return to their winning ways faced off at PFL Charlotte on Friday, as Bryan Battle and Dalton Rosta looked to bounce back from recent setbacks.
In Battle’s case, he had dropped his promotional debut to Johnny Eblen, who would go on to win interim gold and book himself a rematch with Costello van Steenis. That left Battle looking to regroup, the former UFC fighter and TUF winner having moved to the PFL after a pair of wins in Dirty Boxing.
For Dalton Rosta, the former Bellator standout entered Friday’s bout having lost back-to-back fights against Impa Kasanganay and Fabian Edwards.
With middleweight being one of the PFL’s deeper weight classes, a win was key for both men.
