UFC 329: McGregor vs. Holloway 2 Post-Fight Press Conference

The main event fizzled with Conor McGregor falling to injury early yet again, but UFC 329 was a solid card otherwise.

Paddy Pimblett was arguably the night’s biggest winner, submitting Benoit Saint-Denis in style, while Robert Whittaker made a successful move to light heavyweight. King Green showed his veteran wiles as he survived an early onslaught by Terrance McKinney to come away with yet another improbable victory.

Yet all that will be overshadowed by the failed return of Conor McGregor, who appeared to have blown out his knee firing a jumping roundhouse kick at Max Holloway off the opening bell of the night’s main event. McGregor, who left the octagon without an interview, had been out of action five years after breaking his leg against Dustin Poirier back in 2021. Whether he ever fights again now becomes a question mark, especially after he appeared to stumble even before he entered the octagon on Saturday.

That brought up immediate questions about whether or not McGregor went into the fight hurt. While Max Holloway called for an immediate rematch, only time will tell on this one.

With UFC 329 a wrap, tune in to the post-fight press conference to keep on top of all the night’s storylines.
