Ludovit Klein Aims To Be First To Finish Gamrot, Wants Ranking

UFC lightweight Ludovit Klein draws the very tough and highly ranked #7 Mateusz Gamrot at UFC Vegas 107 on Saturday night.

Klein (23-4-1) might not be the most brash talker in the game, but he’s not backing down against Gamrot. In fact he’s calling his shot.

“He’s really tough opponent. He has a good wrestling and Jiu-Jitsu game,” Klein told reporters on Wednesday.

“He is good striking, but I feel I’m ready for him. Challenging him, and (I’ll) beat him. Yeah.”

The Slovakian fighter has been in the UFC since 2020 putting together a 7-2-1 record. He’s been calling for a fight with a ranked opponent, and finally gets his wish at the UFC APEX this weekend.

“Yes that’s my goal. It’s a dream come true. I waiting for long time for opponent from the top 15. Now I have opponent from top ten,” he said.

“It’s a big thing for me and for my country. I’m ready to be there.”

Called his shot, and even added a bit of sauce to it. Is this Babe Ruth pointing to the sky calling his home run shot?

Maybe.

“In my mind I see victory in the first round,” said Klein.

“Because I want to be the first guy who finish Mateusz Gamrot.”
