A lightweight fight deserving of a full house of fans will instead play out at the Apex next month as part of UFC Vegas 107.
Mateusz Gamrot (24-3, 1NC), ranked #7 in the 155lb division, will face L’udovit Klein (23-4-1) at the UFC’s Fight Night event on May 31, 2025.
Promotion officials announced the booking on Thursday, ending considerable speculation about who Gamrot would face next.
Poland’s Gamrot, a.k.a. “Gamer,” last competed in August of 2024, losing a split decision against Dan “The Hangman” Hooker. That loss snapped a three-fight win streak the Pole had put together, a run that included victories over the popular Rafael Fiziev, and former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos.
Given he’s not yet ranked in the top 15, L’udovit Klein drawing the former KSW champ might come as a surprise. Or perhaps not, as the Slovakian has not lost a fight since 2021. He’s currently on a seven-fight unbeaten streak, with six wins and a draw in that stretch. A win over Gamrot would almost certainly see him break into the top 15 at 155lbs.
