I was high on Santos at a point in 2021. It was when he lost to the UFC‘s Daniel Argueta that his stock dropped tremendously. Argueta dominated Santos from start to finish with wrestling, and top control, and Santos got the hell beat out of him with GNP.
Santos has got back on the board with a win since but there has been nothing to suggest he’s improved. Even still, Santos is such a big threat on the feet. He has the speed, the explosiveness, the decision-making, and the power just to list a few of what he brings to the table. His biggest issue is he’ll be going up against a lot of strong wrestlers and that’s his kryptonite.
