Usmonov has a lot of combat experience. He’s a three-time Muay Thai champion and was a national Russian combat sambo champion. His last four fights were boxing bouts and two of those for Bare Knuckle FC.
Usmonov is a talented striker but has a limited ground game. Not the most technical but he will let his hands rip with a lot of heat behind them. Usmonov is a dangerous pocket striker that relies on his quick explosive moments. Heavy hands, heavy leg kicks, and explosiveness are what he’s about. I’ll say after he was knocked out badly last year he’s not fought with the same animosity. Usmonov is a game fighter who’s going to be tough to hold down or out-strike regardless.
