Hulme is a big strong dude who can impose his size on opponents and break them. He does a lot of smothering against the cage. His wrestling isn’t great but eventually wears on guys and gets the fight down.

Using his jiu-jitsu is where Hulme shines. He’s got so good technique and is a dual threat at finding submissions and landing ground and pound. Hulme can be taken down but is at least active up his back always attacking. He’s just too one-dimensional to go very far. His kickboxing is okay but his hands are almost non-existent. Hulme is uncomfortable on the feet and he gets walked down. His cardio isn’t good and it’s visible in round three.
