Prediction:
For bantamweight on The Ultimate Fighter 32, I think it’s between Edwin Cooper and Nathan Fletcher. I’m going to be picking Cooper because of his wrestling mixed with his size. He’s the biggest featherweight on the cast and that matters a lot when you have the level of wrestling he does. If anyone is able to stuff his takedowns it’s going to be Fletcher. Fletcher has the better jiu-jitsu and striking but I see Cooper being able to control him for two rounds. I also really like the wrestling and grappling of Roets but I don’t think it matches up with Cooper or Fletcher. A sleeper I would say would be is Usmonov. Usmonov has good takedown defense and has the most dangerous complete striking game in the division.
For middleweight, I believe the favorite would be Magomedov but I like Chaaban. Chaaban is easily the most well-rounded middleweight fighter here. I can’t see anyone giving him problems on the feet unless he just gets caught with his hands down. The only one I can see catching him is McCorry because he’s so explosive. Magomedov only wants to wrestle and it could lead to some boring wins. Chaaban can be taken down but his jiu-jitsu is good off his back. If Magomedov trusted in his striking more I’d think he runs away with this competition. For a dark horse, I believe that’s Chaaban and he’s my pick to win.
