10 Lightweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2023

Losene “Black Panther” Keita

24 | 5’9″ | Konakry, Conakry, Guinea | 9-0 | 5 finishes | 5 KO/TKOs | Combined Opponents’ Record: 87-62 | Best Win – Ivan Buchinger (39-7)

I featured Keita on this list last year but he’s so much better coming into this year. Keita had a huge step up in competition his last fight, taking on the 46-fight veteran Ivan Buchinger. Keita stopped him inside one round and won the Oktagon lightweight title. That fight alone proved he is ready for the UFC.

Keita swings with some real stopping power in his hands, and when he puts his hands together – he’s even more lethal. Keita has shown glimpses of good boxing as well, using the jab and going body-head. This guy is a real problem in the division and would make a nice roster spot for the UFC.

We caught up with Keita last year — check out that feature right here.
