10 Lightweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2023

Predrag Bogdanović

? | ? | Novi Sad, Serbia | 13-0 | 6 finishes | 2 KO/TKOs, 4 Submissions | Combined Opponents’ Record: 94-30-4 | Best Win – Edimilson Souza (18-6)

Bogdanovic has the best resume on this list and doesn’t get nearly the respect he deserves. He has wins over Souza, Jackson Loureiro, Shamil Kasumov, and Tamaz Bochorishvili. He’s never fought anyone with a losing record. Bogdanovic is the current Serbian Battle Championship lightweight champion. There isn’t much talk about him considering he’s not been finishing fights. Even though he’s not putting guys away he’s dominating tough opposition.

Bogdanović is primarily a wrestler/grappler. He’s not shown much on the feet and that’s why he usually shoots for the legs as early as possible. Bogdanović has a solid single-leg takedown he uses to get the fight down. Real proficient on the mat, and he’s methodical with his transitions. Bogdanović has four submission wins including a north-south choke which is something you don’t see often.
