Canadian flyweight Jasmine Jasudavicius has been lined up for a fight with former Jungle Fights champ Natalia Silva for her second trip to the UFC octagon.

Jasudavicius (7-1) is expected to face Silva (12-5-1) at a UFC Fight Night event on June 18, 2022. A source familiar with the situation, speaking on condition of anonymity as they were not authorized to discuss the matter, confirmed to Cageside Press that the bout had been verbally agreed to, with contracts pending.

Brazil’s Combate was first to report the news.

St. Catharines, Ontario-based Jasudavicius made her promotional debut earlier this year, defeating Kay Hansen via unanimous decision at UFC 270 in January. The 33-year old won her way into the promotion on Dana White’s Contender Series last year, and will ride a three-fight win streak into the bout with Silva.

Brazilian Silva won and defended the Jungle Fights women’s flyweight title in 2019, but has not fought since. She signed on with the UFC in mid-2020, and was expected to make her debut in January 2021 against Victoria Leonardo. A fractured Ulna, however, forced her out of the fight.

The UFC’s June 18, 2022 Fight Night event does not yet have a venue, location, or broadcast plan officially announced. The following bouts have been reported for the card thus far:

  • Julian Marquez vs. Wellington Turman
  • Phil Hawes vs. Deron Winn
  • Roman Dolidze vs. Kyle Daukaus
  • Jasmine Jasudavicius vs. Natália Silva
