Who better to be on hand for a heavyweight title fight than ‘The Gypsy King’ himself? When touching on the action that was unfolding before him, Trigon-side, Fury said [via Bare Knuckle Bowker],
“It’s very different to what I’m usually watching. So, it’s exciting stuff.”
Fury has expressed that MMA is not necessarily his thing because of the wrestling aspects, and when touching on the specific competitive pieces about the bare-knuckle action, Fury stated
“Yeah, very good. Very good action. A lot of knockouts.”
Fury’s family has a lot of reverence for Bartley Gorman, who reigned over the world of illegal bare-knuckle fighting for several years whilst being widely regarded as ‘The King of The Gypsies’. The Fury and Gorman clans also have ties to one another that are evident still to this very day.
When asked what he imagines the late Bartley Gorman would think of an event like this, in terms of the scale of what BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing is presenting, Fury noted
“Yeah, he’d love it. Absolutely love it.”

Tyson Fury is actively working toward a generational gloved boxing clash with Anthony Joshua but didn’t completely rule out the idea of throwing down in gloveless combat someday. This was touched on between fights after Fury made a special entrance to the BKB Mighty Trigon for an interview with Gareth A. Davies.
During this exchange inside the compact combative space regarding whether we could see the decorated pugilist competing within that space down the line, Fury stated,
“I’m a prize fighter. Show me the money…get the chequebook out, I’ll be here.”
