10 Flyweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2022

Andres Luna Martinetti

26 | 5’7″ | Guayaquil, Ecuador | 12-0 | 8 Finishes | 2 KO/TKOs, 6 Submission (5 RNC’s, Calf Slicer) | Combined Opponents’ Record: 48-30 | Best Win – Marcos Muñoz (9-1)

Martinetti is a former champion out of Peru capturing the Fusion FC flyweight title. More recently he’s been fighting in Mexico for UWC airing live on UFC Fight Pass. He most recently fought at bantamweight but has mainly fought at 125. Not the best of competition beaten but nonetheless, a 12-0 record is impressive.

His striking/kickboxing has looked to be improving over time but it’s his ground game that makes a difference. Being so good at taking the back, it’s highlighted by being a real threat to finish with the RNC. All around though his grappling is top-notch and can finish the fight in any position.
