10 Flyweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2022

Azamat Kerefov

30 | 5’9″ | Nalchik, Russia | 15-0 | 4 Finishes | 3 KO/TKOs, 1 Submission (Armbar) | Combined Opponents’ Record: 115-32-1 | Best Win – Rasul Albaskhanov (11-4)

Undefeated Russian Kerefov is a former ACA champion. Former, because his ACA contract is up and he is now a free agent. Over the last four years, he’s fought and proved himself under the ACA banner fighting nothing but top-level competition. He’s arguably the best flyweight outside of the UFC.

On the feet, Kerefov has good dirty boxing, dangerous kicks, and a laser-accurate straight left. He is as good of a wrestler as he is a striker, and has a gas tank to go five rounds. His takedown defense needs some work but he has good grappling and get-up ability. Azamat was very impressive in his last showing getting his first finish in his last eight fights.
