10 Featherweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2022

William “The Punisher” Gomis

24 | 5’11″ | Le Havre, France | 8-2 | 5 Finishes | 4 KO/TKOs, 1 Submission (Guillotine) | Combined Opponents’ Record: 77-69 | Best Win – Tobias Harila (9-1)

Gomis didn’t really jump out to anyone until last year. He signed with Cage Warriors last year and beat highly regarded prospect Tobias Harila. A fight everyone expected Gomis to lose. He didn’t and actually dominated Harila for three rounds. Gomis has an exciting fighting style and with the French market opened up Gomis would be a silent, under the radar but nevertheless great signing.

Gomis is a really dangerous guy when he blitzes forward and off his back foot. He throws a lot of good kicks and his hands compliment his offensive output. He does a fine job of always staying busy. Not the cleanest on the mat but he can wrestle and grapple when needed. It’s going be tough to figure out Gomis on the feet where he’s so tricky. I really like Gomis and think he can be something one day.
