2. Khetag Pliev vs. Devin Goodale

You’ll be forgiven for not knowing Khetag Pliev’s name at first glance. Just known that Pliev is perhaps the coolest MF’er you’re ever going to meet: so cold, in fact, that he barely reacted to a finger snapping off.

Pliev’s bout against Devin Goodale earlier this year at CFFC 94 became something off an instant legend when, between rounds, commentator CM Punk took to the mic to ask if anyone had seen the fighter’s missing finger. Was it in the stands? Lodged in someone’s hotdog bun?

Yikes. What’s even more crazy is that he had fought several minutes with the injury. Eventually, the missing digit was found in his glove, and later surgically reattached, but not before images like the one above made the rounds.

Even more crazy? After losing a finger, Pliev refused painkillers, and said on a scale of 0 to 10, his pain level was a 2.
