The Contender Series is back, with Season 10 of Dana White’s Contender Series kicking off this week featuring a card headlined by heavyweight hopefuls.

DWCS has proven to be a winner for the UFC, and is now the primary route into the promotion for up-and-coming fighters. And while the wisdom of giving out so many contracts each year has been questioned (the UFC’s roster has ballooned, while DWCS fighters are now often looked at as cheap labor at least until they have breakout moments), it’s hard to argue that it hasn’t been a massive success.

This week’s crop of rookies includes heavyweights Anthony Wint and Matt Adams, who both feature six wins as professional mixed martial artists. Wint, however, is undefeated, while Adams, an LFA alum, does have two losses to date.

Flyweight standout Bilal Hasan, an undefeated Indonesian fighter and current Cage Fury FC (CFFC) flyweight champion, is also in action on Tuesday. He’s set to take on India’s Mridul “Crusher” Saikia, who appeared on the Road to UFC in 2025 only to be finished by China’s Agulali.
