Jessica “Bate Estaca” Andrade (21-8 MMA, UFC)

Strawweight (115lbs): 7-3 (UFC), Former UFC Champion

Flyweight (125lbs): 1-0 (UFC)

Bantamweight (135lbs): 4-2 (UFC)

Jessica Andrade has been in the UFC for a long time. Andrade took her first fight in the UFC back in 2013 in the bantamweight division. Andrade, despite standing at just 5’1″ and with a 62″ reach managed to accumulate a decent record at 135lbs, before moving down in weight.

In 2016 a 24-year old Andrade took her first fight at strawweight in the UFC. Bate Estaca looked largely unstoppable during her 10 fight stint at 115lbs. in the UFC. The lone times she looked human was against the highest level of competition in her losses to Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Weili Zhang, and in the Rose Namajunas rematch.

Jessica has a very muscular build even though she has a small frame, this explains her six fight stint at bantamweight in the UFC before deciding to cut a lot of weight. After Andrade lost the rematch to Rose, she abandoned her excessive weight cut and moved up to the flyweight division. Andrade’s freakish power and strength were on full display in her UFC debut at flyweight, which was also her most recent fight, against Katlyn Chookagian. Now, Andrade will get a shot at the flyweight title in just her second fight in the weight class at UFC 261.
