10 Flyweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2021

Jake “White Kong” Hadley

24 | 5’7″ | Birmingham, England | 7-0 | 5 Finishes | 2 KO/TKOs, 3 Submissions (RNC) | Combined Opponents’ Record: 39-34 | Best Win – Nkazimulo Zulu (11-2)

7-0 as a pro after a solid amateur career, Hadley has been successful just about everywhere and was a 4x amateur British flyweight champion. The last two years have been huge in the career of Hadley. In 2019 he beat Nkazimulo Zulu for the EFC Worldwide title and then beat a solid Blaine O’Driscoll under the Bellator banner. Last year Hadley made his Cage Warriors debut beating a good fighter in Shajidul Haque. Last month he won the Cage Warriors flyweight title. Hadley has fought top-level competition and is the most UFC-ready flyweight out there at 125lbs. This is his second straight year making this list.

Hadley is more of a wrestler, but he has shown a good left hand and good kicks. And while Hadley is a good wrestler, it’s arguably his jiu-jitsu that is his best aspect. His transitions are smooth and his ability to take the back is superb. He’s a big submission threat with nine career submissions.
